Alex's Favourite Therapy Quote:

“Commitment means that when you do (inevitably) stumble or get off track, you pick yourself up, find your bearings, and carry on in the direction you want to go.” - Russ Harris

Welcome! I am glad you're here, and I appreciate you considering me as someone who can help. I strive to create an environment where you feel valued, respected, and heard, regardless of background or identity. While I’m here to validate and support you, I’m also committed to gently challenging you to promote real growth and change. I’m deeply receptive to your feedback and will continually fine-tune our sessions to ensure that you feel supported.

Practice Areas

I specialize in supporting individuals who are feeling overwhelmed and are looking for a way to move forward with more ease and self-compassion. Whether you’re dealing with anxiety, perfectionism, OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder), burnout, depression, or you’re simply seeking self-improvement and deeper introspection, you don’t have to face these challenges alone. To ensure goodness of fit, I offer a free virtual consultation. I have availability for both in-person sessions and virtual therapy, providing flexibility to meet your needs. I am currently working with Individual Adults aged 18 and up.
Every person's story is unique, and yet we all have common experiences we can relate to. Though it may feel like it at times, you are not alone.

Education & Experience

I completed my B.A. Honours in Psychology at the University of Ottawa, and my Masters Degree in Counselling, Spirituality, and Psychotherapy at Saint Paul University. I am on the public registry as a Registered Psychotherapist with the CRPO. I am currently under the supervision of Dr. Reesa Packard, Ph.D., RP.

Therapeutic Approach

In my therapeutic approach, I integrate a variety of evidence-based modalities such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), attachment-based interventions, and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), as well as being trauma-informed. I believe understanding how your brain and body are processing thoughts and emotions can be incredibly helpful and validating. Together, we explore your inner world, relational patterns, and past experiences, fostering understanding and working toward positive change.

About Alex

"Variety is the spice of life" - a favourite quote of mine as outside of psychotherapy I’m a jack of all trades, master of none. I’m an avid patterned-socks enthusiast who enjoys learning new things through reading, brain puzzles, and playing and listening to music. When I am not working, you will find me enjoying time with friends and family, being outdoors, playing volleyball, or cuddling my pets. I seek to embrace every adventure that comes my way, especially through travel.
