Chelsea's Favourite Therapy Quote:

“I am not what happened to me, I am what I choose to become.” – C.G. Jung

I acknowledge the courage it took for you to make these first steps. Reaching out for support can bring up all kinds of emotions, and I am here to support you through that. Together, we can create a safe and judgement free space that fosters healing and growth. My goal is to help you navigate the challenges and pain that life can bring with a compassionate and genuine approach. I strive to work collaboratively every step of the way to ensure you feel heard and that your goals are met.

Practice Areas

We are human, and the issues we face often come together simultaneously. It can be difficult to narrow down on one concern therefore, I welcome you within a wide variety of presenting issues. We will expand on these issues, discuss your goals and how we can achieve them together.

I work with adults and adolescents aged 16 years old and above. My areas of expertise and interest include depression, anxiety, emotion regulation, self-harm, self-esteem issues, perfectionism, trauma, suicidal ideation, anger, stress management related to academic or work life, life transitions, grief and loss, gender identity, sexuality, interpersonal relationships, and self-growth.

My practice places a strong emphasis on inclusivity, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for individuals of all genders, sexual orientations, races, and cultural backgrounds.

Education & Experience

I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Honours Psychology from Concordia University and a Master of Education in Counselling Psychology from the University of Ottawa. I completed my clinical internship at Champlain College St-Lambert under the supervision of psychologist, Debra Polomeno.

Therapeutic Approach

I use an integrative approach tailored to your unique needs, drawing from a combination of evidence-based modalities including emotion-focused therapy (EFT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), attachment-based, compassion-focused therapy (CFT), and solution-focused therapy (SFT).
My approach is from a person-centered lens that helps cultivate an empathetic, validating, and genuine therapeutic relationship that serves as the foundation to explore your experiences, views, and unique identity.

About Chelsea

Outside of therapy, I engage in my own self-care activities such as spending time with loved ones, and long walks with my sister and our dog, Siena.
I love going to concerts, drinking coffee, listening to podcasts, watching drag race, going to the movies (huge horror/thriller fan), and trying new restaurants. I am passionate about travelling and my happy place is anywhere near the ocean.
I feel most energized and grounded when I am connecting with people.
