Jessica's Favourite Therapy Quote:

“I am not afraid of storms for I am learning how to sail my ship.” — Amy March, from Little Women

Welcome to your journey towards healing and growth.
I want to acknowledge your courage in seeking support, and I am here to walk alongside you as you navigate life's challenges. Our work together is about more than just addressing immediate concerns; it’s about cultivating a deeper sense of peace, balance, and emotional well-being that will empower you to move forward with clarity and self-compassion.

Practice Areas

I am deeply committed to supporting individuals who are facing a wide range of mental health challenges. My practice areas include grief and loss, anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions. I am passionate about helping people build emotional resilience and self-awareness. Additionally, I work with clients who are navigating issues related to self-esteem, stress, burnout, boundaries, and relationships. My approach is rooted in empathy, understanding, and collaboration, and I aim to provide the tools and support necessary to foster healing and long-term well-being.

Education & Experience

I am currently pursuing my MA in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University, and I hold an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology with a concentration in Health Psychology and Well-being from Carleton University. I am under the clinical supervision of Dr. Reesa Packard, Ph.D., RP, as I work toward completing my training. My professional experience includes diverse populations, and I am dedicated to offering a compassionate, client-centered approach to therapy.

Therapeutic Approach

My approach to therapy is relational and collaborative, aiming to create a safe and supportive space where you can explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences without fear of judgment. Drawing from psychodynamic theories, and humanistic principles, I integrate elements of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to offer both insight and practical skills for emotional regulation and coping. Together, we will work to identify the strategies that resonate with you and support your journey towards healing and fulfillment.

About Jessica

When I’m not working with clients, I love spending time with my dog and two cats. I’m an avid reader, always looking for a good book to dive into, and I enjoy moments of rest and relaxation. Whether it’s spending time outdoors, unwinding with a cup of tea, or simply enjoying quiet time at home, I value the importance of self-care. Life is about finding harmony, and I believe in nurturing all aspects of well-being—mental, emotional, and physical.
