Kevin's Favourite Therapy Quote:

“The head has no answers, and the heart has no questions”- Jack Kakakaway

Hello! Making the decision to come to therapy is a powerful choice you have made to prioritize your well-being, and I am grateful to be a part of that journey. On this page, I hope to give you a snapshot of how I practice and what therapy together may look like. Please take a read through my bio, and if my approach to psychotherapy resonates with you or you have any questions, feel free to get in touch.

Practice Areas

My approach to therapy is a collaborative process between therapist and client, co-creating a space that is built upon trust, compassion and safety. I offer individual therapy to adults (18+) through a neurodiverse, trauma-informed and queer affirming lens. I see therapy as an intentional space of self exploration and growth. It can be a place to discover where you may have become stuck in life, and to work together to regain your spontaneity that may have been lost along the way.

I work with people experiencing anxiety, depression, grief, self harm, relationship challenges, family conflict, work stress and burnout. I am passionate about supporting those looking to explore autism and neurodivergence, and those looking to heal from past trauma.

Education & Experience

I completed a five-year training program in Gestalt Psychotherapy at the Gestalt Institute of Toronto, and a BA in Sociology from the University of Toronto. I am a Registered Psychotherapist and in good standing with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. Before becoming a therapist, I spent the last 10 years working in roles to empower autistic children, adults and their families.

Therapeutic Approach

My approach to therapy is based in Gestalt modalities, which is a blend of Experiential, Somatic and Relational Psychotherapy. I work to emphasize the interconnectedness of the mind and body, and observe psychological difficulties (like anxiety, depression, or trauma) from an embodied awareness of the present moment. I lean on principles of Gestalt Psychotherapy that aim to meet clients where they are from a place of curiosity, rather than to change them.

About Kevin

Creativity and play are important parts of me in and outside therapy. I feel most myself when I can express myself through playing with my son, watercolour painting, writing and reading. I love early mornings, waking up before anyone else to sit quietly, drink coffee and watch day unfold. I find the best way to travel is by walking so I can explore new neighbourhoods and take in the uniqueness of the world around me.
