Lynn's Favourite Therapy Quote:

“To deny the life of our emotions and the process of feeling is to deny how alive we are” - Prentis Hemphill

Every person carries a story, and I am here to listen closely to yours. My priority is to offer a space where your experiences are met with care and curiosity. In our work together, we will explore the emotional, relational, and psychological patterns that may be shaping or sustaining your current challenges. I view therapy as a collaborative process built on mutual trust and openness. As part of that, I will share my understanding of your experiences, along with the clinical perspective and support I believe will best serve your growth.

Practice Areas

In my practice, I work with youth and adults, including adolescents aged 16 and above, university students, young professionals, and individuals navigating significant life transitions. Common concerns I address include anxiety, depression, unsustainable eating habits, low self-esteem, emotional dysregulation, burnout, ADHD, and relational or familial struggles.
My approach is integrative, considering your unique background, experiences, and cultural influences to understand how they have shaped who you are, how you view the world, and the ways in which you cope with life’s uncertainties.
I believe everyone deserves a space to heal, grow, and find balance. For this reason, I am committed to creating an inclusive and supportive environment, ensuring that all individuals, regardless of gender, sexual orientation, race, or cultural background, feel valued and heard.
I offer services in English, French, and Arabic.

Education & Experience

I am a registered psychotherapist (qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario and a professional member of the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA).
I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology (specialization) from Concordia University and a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology (with honors) from Yorkville University. I completed my clinical internship under supervision at the Montreal Therapy Centre.
My previous experience includes working with individuals between the ages of 7 and 21 who have special needs, including autism spectrum disorder and various behavioral and emotional challenges, within an educational setting.

Therapeutic Approach

I draw from a range of evidence-based modalities to create a tailored treatment plan. I incorporate interventions rooted in cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), humanistic, and psychodynamic therapies. I also implement practices derived from emotion-focused therapy (EFT) to help clients explore and process underlying emotional patterns. Prioritizing individuality, I adapt my approach to best align with your specific needs and therapeutic goals.

About Lynn

Outside of my therapeutic practice, I find joy in being outdoors – whether it is going for a walk, spending time in nature, or enjoying a bit of fresh air with a good coffee in hand. I also love baking! After being diagnosed with celiac disease, I began experimenting with gluten-free versions of my favorite sweet treats. Daily movement and quality time with friends and family are non-negotiable as they keep me feeling grounded and connected.
