Meghan's Favourite Therapy Quote:

“Your present circumstances don’t determine where you can go, they merely determine where you start.” - Nido Qubein

Starting therapy can feel like a big step, and you may not be entirely sure what you're looking for yet, and that’s okay. I’m here to offer a supportive space where you can explore what’s on your mind, gain clarity, and connect more deeply with yourself and others. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, navigating a life change, or simply wanting to understand yourself better, we’ll work together to focus on what matters most to you.

Practice Areas

In my practice I work with adult clients (18+) navigating a diverse range of concerns, including relational and interpersonal challenges, anxiety, stress, life transitions, grief, loss, self-image, and authenticity.

I have a growing interest in reproductive health and supporting individuals as they navigate the complex emotional experiences connected to reproductive decision-making, fertility, pregnancy, loss, and postpartum adjustment. I approach this work with sensitivity, compassion, and a deep respect for client agency and emotional validation throughout these deeply personal journeys.

I recognize that what initially brings someone to therapy may not be what sustains the work overtime. As challenges evolve and our focus shifts, I remain committed to supporting you in a way that feels authentic and responsive to your needs.

Education & Experience

I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Forensic Psychology and Neuroscience from Carleton University and a Master of Education in Counselling Psychology from the University of Ottawa. I completed my placement at Ottawa Therapy Group under the supervision of Jennifer Goldberg M.Ed, RP, CCC.,

With a background as a psychometrist and crisis line worker in the Ottawa area, I remain committed to growth through regular supervision and ongoing professional development.

Therapeutic Approach

I am a client-centered therapist, first and foremost, meeting clients where they are with empathy and respect. I integrate relational and attachment-based perspectives with emotion-focused and psychodynamic approaches to support clients in exploring their inner world, processing emotions, and understanding relational patterns. While I occasionally incorporate exercises or interventions from more structured approaches, such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, my overall approach is adaptive and responsive to each client’s unique needs. My goal is to create a safe, collaborative space where meaningful growth and healing can unfold.

About Meghan

When I’m not working with clients, I enjoy spending time outdoors, soaking up the sunshine, camping, or getting lost in a good book. In the colder months, you’ll often find me baking or curled up with a blanket and a cup of tea.

Spending time with the people I care about brings me a deep sense of peace and perspective. Whether it's sharing laughs, meals, or quiet moments, these experiences remind me of the importance of connection, balance, and joy.
