Nathalie's Favourite Therapy Quote:

“Owning our story and loving ourselves through that process is the bravest thing we’ll ever do.” – Brene Brown

Hello and Welcome to my page! My hope is to make this experience as approachable as possible for you and create a sacred, safe and collaborative space together, where we can explore what is on your mind and assess together what evidence-based approaches might be best to help you along your journey, while also considering your wants, needs, hopes, and dreams. Together we can explore areas of self-growth, self-development, life-transitions, and personal, emotional, relational, and spiritual struggles as well.

Practice Areas

I work with Adults (18+) and Older Adults (65+). My practice areas include: ADHD, Addiction, Anger Management, Anxiety, Bipolar Disorder, Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD), Climate Change Related Anxiety, Coping Skills, Depression, Emotional Disturbances, Grief, Impulse Control Disorders, LGBTQ+, Life Transitions, Mood Disorders, Peer Relationships, Personality Disorders, Relationships Issues, School Issues, Self Esteem, Self-Development, Self-Growth, Self-Harming, Sleep or Insomnia, Spirituality, Stress, Suicidal Ideation, Trauma and PTSD, and Women's Issues.

Education & Experience

I graduated with my M.A in Counselling and Spirituality at Saint Paul University in 2021 and am currently furthering my education through a Ph.D. program in Counselling and Spirituality as well. I have been practicing for 4 years and am currently a Registered Psychotherapist in private practice at the Ottawa Psychotherapy Center, practicing under the clinical supervision of Reesa Packard, Ph.D., RP. Undergoing my own personal journey over the years has helped me to be able to support others along theirs.

Therapeutic Approach

My therapeutic approach is dependent on your therapeutic needs, goals and what therapeutic direction we agree upon together. I use a variety of evidence-based approaches integratively such as Attachment-Based, Cognitive Behavioural (CBT), Dialectical Behavior (DBT), Emotionally Focused, Existential, Experiential Therapy, Humanistic, Interpersonal, Mindfulness-Based (MBCT), Narrative, Person-Centered, Psychodynamic, Solution Focused Brief (SFBT), Somatic, Strength-Based, and Trauma Focused.

About Nathalie

I feel honoured to be able to walk alongside others in my work and help support them along their journeys. Outside of the therapy room, I enjoy connecting with nature by going for long walks to ground, or by finding a comfortable place to sit and read. I also enjoy activities such as running, swimming, and playing open world adventure video games. When I’m not connecting with nature, or engaging in my hobbies, I am spending time with my family, my partner, and my cat.
